It’s Halloween, and Adelaide and her friends are going trick-or-treating. As it gets dark, Adelaide’s stomach begins to hurt and her heart starts beating faster. Suddenly, a tiny witchlet named Zara appears in a golden bubble with some good advice for Adelaide and her friends. She tells them to imagine themselves inside a glittering golden bubble. She shows them how to spread the golden light all around, to help others who are also scared of the dark.

Adelaide and the Cosmic Rescue Squad, has set a high standard for the ones that follow. The Halloween costumes and illustrations are adorable! While the story that unfolds is one that many children face - being afraid of the dark - it provides a soothing remedy. The imagination of the story is remarkable and well done!

This book is so much fun. We scanned the QR code on the cover and listened to the audiobook and meditation and it was so much fun. We loved the sound effects, they were very magical.

I do recommend this book it’s a great book for helping calm a child that might be getting scared, helps them re-focus their minds on something safer and more fun. This book shares tools and advise in a really easy and fun way that children would enjoy.

Adelaide and her friends are so supportive of each other and help each other through difficult moments. The audiobook and guided meditation are so sweet and sleep-inducing, I would recommend this book for everyone!
